Trip to China : Day 1 Beijing to Qing Dao

14 Days Trip to China :
-> 1)  8 Days in Shan Dong Province with Travel Agent Tour
-> 2)  we extend your trip, 7 Days in only Beijing (most wonderful trip), travel by our own and guide from my bf's uncle & aunty  + 2 days with Beijing local travel agency
Journey start on 31st May 2011, 6pm arrive Kuching Airport (town in Sarawak state, Malaysia) waiting for our 8pm flight to Kuala Lumpur.

Arrived Kuala Lumpur at 9pm smth (almost 10pm as flight from KCH to KL took 1hr 45 mins) and also waiting for our 1230am flight to Beijing.

6 hours flight from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing... so we spend a whole day in airport and in flight... tiring....

31th May 2011
Finally arrived China, first stop is in Beijing...
Our travel agency arrange us a half day Beijing  trip while we were waiting for our train to Qing Dao (@ Shan Dong Province, in chinese 青岛, 山东省)

1st stop:
Beijing 2008 Summer Olympic Stadium

a)  National Aquatics Center [known as the Water Cube (水立方)]

b)  National Stadium [known as the Bird's Nest (鸟巢)]

-_-||| taking in a wrong position...
I should have took this pic from the other side to have a clear view of this swimming statue ... (as i was trying to escape from the sunlight so neglect the position...tsk tsk tsk)

A very HUGE Bird Nest.... see how tiny a person is in front of it.. ^o^

a lamp inside the Bird Nest...

B Entrance

this is not a Bird Nest but a Lamp Post beside BIRD NEST...
the seat is just next to the lamp...

A map which explain the route of the Stadium....

Map which show places or route surround the Nest (don't know what's surround it as I din not pay any attention to it -_-|||)

Two cute dolls placed in front of the entrance of the Nest

As our tour guide did not bring us into Nest so I can only take take it from the outside with my 18-135mm...
To pay a visit to the inside of the Bird Nest you need to pay an entrance fee which cost RMB50/- (50 YUAN) per adult... opening hour : start on 9am
For FREE Entrance , you might need your tour guide to guide u in...
Picture below is the seats in the Bird Nest...

Something unusual appear in National Stadium.... maybe it's belong to the gardener... (i guess)

Firstly I thought this guy is a solider...  (right bottom corner of the pic)
but after he turned to aside I saw a DSLR in his hand...oh man~~ he is a photographer~~~ *sweat*

his outfit really look like a solider to me... T.T

The Doll's colour faded... wonder if it is becos long expose to sun or rain?...
Do they ever kept the doll or just leave there?.... hm...

poor doll doll... *hug hug*

Green car tours

unusual motor bike plate i had seen... just name only...

Beijing most Feng Shui building... (sorry cant remember the name....)

too tired after visiting i guess... :P
the stadium is too big for foot travel....

A stair in front of the window...
Does it mean just walk in the shop from the window?

What they serve: (through my understanding)
1)Knife Shaved Noodle, directly translate from Chinese word...sorry about it as I don know how it should be named in English...-_-|||
(firstly I had no idea what is a Knife Shaved Noodle till I have my 2nd or 3rd day visit in Shan Dong Province then I found my answer...~wheeee~....will upload the photo in next blog post)
2)Home Cook Dishes
3)No Idea what it is...I'm Chinese but there's a lot of vocabulary in China I totally have no idea what it is.... -_-|||

After finished our lunch...
Our Tour Leader passed us our train ticket to QingDao...
Ticket per person : RMB275/-
Must kept this ticket till u arrived and out from the station... as they will have train ticket officer to check your ticker while u r in the train.... if lost, u need buy it again...
I'm in the No.3 lounge/box (sorry no idea what should it called as I rarely take train), seat No.19
There are 3 type of ticket:
1)  1st Class (ONLY RMB30/- different the price with the 2nd Class), with table, sharing with 6 ppl...
2)  2nd Class, which I'm in and was arranged by my travel agency... nothing different with sitting in the aircraft...same arrangement just the space for legs is broader...
3)  Just Standing @ the free space, same price with 2nd Class ticket.... (this is so expensive)

Time duration from Beijing to Qingdao : 7 hours
I'm so regret I choosed the wrong travel agency as other travel agency they provide flight service to Qingdao which just need 3 hours time to depart and only RM200/- diff from my current travel package (RM = Ringgit Malaysia, Malaysia's Currency)... *argh*

Tik Tok Tik Tok... ... ...
